Ole Miss Coach Houston Nutt met with media members on Thursday during the second session of SEC Media Days.
Nutt, who spent the previous decade at Arkansas touched on a variety of topics, including his feelings on joining the Ole Miss program. He was asked several times about facing Arkansas in Fayetteville on Oct. 26.
Initially, Nutt tried to turn attention away from the Arkansas game. He eventually admitted he had thought about the game and probably would several more times before bringing his new team to face his former team.
"You can't help but think about it," Nutt said. "You grew up in Arkansas and at one time thought you'd be there for life. I had 10 great years of experience there, working with some great people. ... We had some great days and great times there. You can't help but think what it will be like on the visitors' side."
Nutt was also asked his thoughts on new Razorbacks Coach Bobby Petrino. He said he was not that familiar with Petrino, but had admired the coach's work from afar.
"I know he made a great run at Louisville," Nutt said. "... There's a respect there. You know he's done an excellent job wherever he's been."
