A Miller County Jail inmate facing felony escape charges protested a judge's decision to refuse to set a bail amount - even though the inmate had escaped from another jail years before.
Anthony Michael Brown is one of six inmates who escaped the Miller County jail last week. One inmate remains at large. Brown appeared before Miller County District Judge Wren Autrey Monday. Autrey cited Brown's past record in refusing to set a bail.
Brown was being held on failure to appear, theft of property and burglary charges. He was recaptured Saturday in Wake Village, Texas.
Bennie Ray Johnson remains missing. He was being held on battery and aggravated robbery charges.
