Hot Springs Drivers Encouraged to 'Dump the Pump'

Officials in Hot Springs are encouraging motorists there to conserve gas by taking advantage of free bus rides.
Starting Thursday, unlimited free bus rides will be offered to all citizens in Hot Springs as a part of the “Dump the Pump” program.
Free round-trip bus rides will be offered to anyone who parks their car--or bike--at one of two parking locations at the specified time.
At 9:00 a.m. you can park on the west side of the Wal-Mart located at 1601 Albert Pike Road, and at 2:00 p.m. motorists can park near the southwest corner of St. Joseph's Mercy Health Center, located at 300 Werner Street.
