El Dorado Man Found Shot to Death in Strong

Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a 34-year-old El Dorado man.
Authorities say Michael French was shot to death in Strong after an argument with 31-year-old Andrew Wayne Lovett of Strong. Police wouldn't say what led to the argument, but said that French and a friend were "riding around drinking" before the dispute.
Authorities say French was found shot to death under a pine tree on Hickory Street. On Monday, a judge set a $500,000 bond for Lovett, who was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder.
