The chairman of Hillary Rodham Clinton (web|news|bio) 's presidential campaign in Arkansas says he believes it's clear that rival Barack Obama (web|news|bio) will win the Democratic presidential nomination.
Attorney General Dustin McDaniel says he hasn't been given any indication from Clinton's campaign that she will drop out, despite reports that she would concede the delegate race to Obama.
Clinton, who served as the state's first lady for 12 years, won overwhelmingly in Arkansas' Democratic presidential primary February 5th and has gained support of the state's top Democrats, including McDaniel and Governor Beebe. The state's three Democratic congressmen and U.S. Senators Mark Pryor and Blanche Lincoln have also endorsed Clinton's bid.
Clinton also gained the support of 11 of the 12 state's superdelegates.
Campaign officials have said Clinton will concede Tuesday night, effectively ending her bid to be the nation's first female president. Obama is 40 delegates shy of clinching the nomination, but he is widely expected to make up the difference Tuesday with superdelegate support and votes in South Dakota and Montana.
