Bank Executive Dies in Motorcycle Accident

Steves, executive vice president for Twin City Bank, died Tuesday afternoon when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a tractor-trailer rig at the intersection of Arkansas 107 and Arkansas 89 west of Cabot in Pulaski County. He was 68.
The accident occurred about 3:50 p.m. when Steves attempted to “lay the (motorcycle) down” to try and avoid an 18-wheeler that had entered the intersection, state police said.
