Judsonia, AR - An engineering firm is taking a new look at a 1924 steel bridge in White County that has been closed for two years because its main crossbeam is cracked.
The bridge that links Judsonia and Kensett was closed by the Arkansas Department of Highways and Transportation after an inspection revealed the crack.
White County Judge Michael Lincoln has asked Little Rock engineering firm Garver LLC to conduct a new inspection and study what may need to be done to get the bridge reopened.
