Search Ends for Missing Man in Beaver Lake

Thirty-nine-year-old Doug Farnsworth was in one of two boats that collided May 9 near Horseshoe Bend State Park. Two people were in each boat, and a 14-year-old boy in one of them was the only person wearing a life preserver.
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is still investigating the accident.
Benton County officials say the search for Farnsworth ended Thursday. A spokesman says the sheriff's dive team will resume the search if it has conclusive information on which to act.
