Ashley County Added to Disaster List

Rep. Mike Ross' office announced Thursday that Ashley County had been made eligible for disaster recovery resources from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Already declared as disaster areas were Howard, Miller, Polk and Sevier counties.
Much of the city of Mena was badly damaged in the storms.
Ross, D-Ark., says the availability of federal resources will help the affected counties make repairs and more quickly get back to normal operation.
