The search continues for the body of an Arkansas teenager who drowned after diving into a water-filled mine.
Around 10:30 a.m. Monday, the Hot Spring County sheriff's department was called to the Baroid Mines, just northeast of Magnet Cove. When rescuers arrived, they discovered that a 17-year-old boy had jumped into the water.
A Hot Spring County dive team was called in to try and recover the body. As of Monday afternoon, they had searched to a depth of 130 feet. Authorities say parts of the mine are 600 feet deep.
Additional equipment from Clark County and Garland County is being brought in to help with the search.
