An arraignment is set for next month for an engineer accused of fatally shooting a security guard at a Trumann plant where they both worked.
Sixty-one-year-old Bruce Pennington was ordered held without bond on suspicion of capital murder in Monday morning's shooting death of 26-year-old Dorman Ray Cooper of Marked Tree.
Cooper was a security guard at Columbia Forest Products and was on duty when he was killed. Authorities say the shooting - which happened at about 4:30 Monday morning - was caught on surveillance videotape.
Authorities say Pennington and Cooper knew each other, and that it was a personal dispute unrelated to the plant.
Pennington is scheduled to be arraigned June 23rd in Poinsett County Circuit Court at Harrisburg.
