An 18-year-old man is killed after being shot. It started with a dispute in a fast food parking lot. The group allegedly decided to move the dispute outside of city limits.
As the people were driving to the new location, several vehicles in the caravan were involved in a wreck. Authorities say one driver, 21-year-old Josh Brown, allegedly got out of his truck and started firing a shotgun in the air.
Steve Lynn Dean Jr. was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at a hospital in Hope early Saturday.
Three people suffered minor injuries from the shotgun pellets, and another was hurt in the car wreck, according to authorities.
Brown was arrested by Arkansas State Police in a wooded area nearby. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
