A prosecutor says a trial date has been set for Tuesday over an interstate bus crash that killed four people, but the date likely will change.
Prosecutor Fletcher Long said a defense attorney for Felix Badillo Tapia of Brownsville, Texas, likely will ask to be released from the case. The prosecutor questioned whether another delay will make Tapia a greater flight risk. Tapia is free on $50,000 bond.
Tapia was driving a Tornado Bus Co. bus Nov. 25 when it crossed the median on Interstate 40 near Forrest City, and collided with two vehicles. Three bus passengers and a pickup truck driver were killed.
