It will be a Happy Mother's Day, indeed, for Arkansan Michelle Duggar. She's pregnant with her 18th child.

The 41-year-old mother is due on New Year's Day, and the latest child will join seven sisters and ten brothers, including two sets of twins.

The fast-growing family lives in Tontitown in northwest Arkansas in a seven-thousand-square-foot home. All the children -- whose names start with the letter J -- are home-schooled. The Duggars' oldest child, Josh, is 20, and the youngest, Jennifer, is nine months old.

Those 2 grown kids, are enough, for you...your choice not to foster or adopt.  I don't think anyone faults you for those choices, do they?  Just as my 2, are enough and I choose not to adopt or foster,  I'm not faulted for that either.  So why do some fault the Duggar's for that?  It's a personal choice as you just demonstrated.  I do believe it's only a media specticle because other's want to know and are interested in thier lives....just as like any fan who's interested in a celebrity, you like to be in the "know" persay.  And it wasn't really the fact that you think 18 kids are too many...that's a simple solution, don't have that many.  It was more of the insisting that they should foster or adopt instead when you, yourself, wasn't willing to do the same thing.  As far as the lottery thing, we agree on that front wholeheartly.  I don't buy the bs about it will make the poor poorer.  In this economy, everything going up but our paychecks, all we pretty much have is hope.  Hope may be a small word, but for some of us, it's everything and the only thing we have left.  I believe like you that no one should tell us what to do with our hard earned money.  But to even deny us the right to say yes or no based on what THEY believe is a slap in the face, especially when another's religion impacts our RIGHT to vote.  Meanwhile money is going to surrounding states as more and more people travel out of state to buy those lottery tickets.  That money sure ain't going to fix our roads that keep getting worse by the constant traffic to those surrounding states, that's thier money now, not Arkansas.  Of course this is not a topic for this disscussion...I think you probaly realize know that we do agree.
