A man charged with capital murder and aggravated robbery has been acquitted.
Twenty-six-year-old Jerry Lee Facon was found not guilty by a Mississippi County jury in the September 7th death of 27-year-old Bobby Shane Pilgrim.
During testimony, Pilgrim's girlfriend said several men entered the home and Facon pinned Pilgrim against a wall and demanded money. She said she did not see Facon with a gun, however.
During closing arguments, Facon's attorney said that just because his client was at the house did not mean he was guilty.
Prosecutor Curtis Walker Jr. questioned why Facon originally denied being at Pilgrim's house when police arrested him.
