Little Rock police say a man accused of using counterfeit bills at a hotel led police on a car chase after walking away from a court appearance.
Officers say Charmmorcus Ugne Holloway, 30, followed prisoners heading to traffic court as opposed to returning to a holding cell Thursday morning after facing arraignment on 25 felony counts of forgery. Holloway left the court and took off in a car with a 1-year-old and a 2-month-old in the back seat.
Police say one officer was injured in the chase. Officers say they found an assault rifle in Holloway's car as well.
Holloway is now being held without bond on six new felony charges stemming from Thursday's chase.
