Little Rock - If you're thinking about getting signed up for this year's marathon-- they only have a few slots left. Organizers are encouraging people to register now and not wait until race the weekend of March 15th.

Proceeds from the 7th Annual Little Rock Marathon will benefit the city's park's and recreation department.

Race officials are preparing for at least 8,000 runners and more than 25,000 spectators. So far, participants are coming from all 50 states and at least 14 other countries. The registration deadline is Monday at midnight or until--the cap has been reached.
