The Rodeo of the Ozarks wants a permit to sell beer at Parsons Stadium in Springdale.
If approved, the permit would be the first for the rodeo in its 63 years.
A permit would allow the sale of beer during the annual rodeo and Professional Bull Riders events, two demolition derbies, two
monster truck events and other events sponsored by the rodeo. Rodeo officials say beer would be sold only from a beer garden inside the arena fence, and would not be available to anyone younger than 21.
The request is currently under review.
