WELL MY COMMENT IS THAT THESE GUYS PLAYED IN THE RAIN AND THEY GOT WET. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT THEY ARE WRONG NO MATTER HOW YOU SLICE THE PIE. YOU CANT MAKE ENOUGH EXCUSES FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT WANT TO WORK BUT YET WANT TO LIVE THE LIFESTYLE OF A WORKING MAN AND ARE ABLE TO SPEND THEIR DOPE MONEY AT THE SAME STORES AS A HONEST WORKING MAN DOES. ITS A SHAME THAT PEOPLE EVEN TRY TO TAKE UP FOR PEOPLE LIKE THIS.

If these idiots were not on active duty why even mention the fact they were in the national guard. They are a disgrace to the uniform of the United States Army and should be kicked out immediately.A lot of good men and women have died defending worthless pieces of trash such as this.I certainly would not want to serve with idiots such a sthese losers.

I hope they get a speedy trial.

Nidra... go back to school and ask a teacher what a period is and maybe someone will understand what you are stating. Oh, and your comments "NOT EVEN THAT TYPE ". What "TYPE" is that you are referring? The drug type? The liar? What type?

Sad, just sad. Sure taking a few dealer off of the street is a good thing, but as far as keeping poison from our children, our local law has a ways to go. Just wonder on how you can "brag" about this bust, yet turn your head away from other drug related crimes.

Kind of sad to see that men that have enlisted to either go fight for our freedom or have been to fight for our freedom fall back on drug sales on our streets. I don't see anywhere in the article that crack cocaine was confiscated on the property. If I'm reading correctly this was all investigated for several months and LOTS of our tax dollars were spent on "busting" yet another marijuana dealer that carries guns (surprise, surprise) and makes tax free money from people that will NEVER stop demanding their product. The product that has NEVER been reported to cause someone to be killed from driving while intoxicated, like alcohol, or overdosed on, like alcohol, or even caused lifelong scars, like alcohol, which is legal. Many people that have prominent jobs in this community and are bringing many opportunities to this state and local communities are getting high in the privacy of their own homes. They are spending their money on a product that is tax free and offers no benefits to our economy. Why are they wasting my tax dollars to bust people that are truly not bringing harm to our society unless they feel like they have to use a gun to make a point (which I don't agree with) by selling marijuana that is unproven to bring harm to a human any worse than legal activities i.e. alcohol, smoking cigarettes, etc. Let's find the real criminals that are molesting their own children and making them live in their own personal hell b/c they have mothers or family members that don't speak up to help and cause LIFELONG scars, or real criminals that are producing meth in their homes with babies crawling under the meth pot. I know that a lot of people think it's a really bad drug but if you compare the effects (long-term and short-term) of this drug with all the other drugs, legal or illegal, this one is not that big of a threat in comparison and we are wasting a lot of our tax dollars to sniff it out. Wake up, people.

Despite all the drug dealers who have been arrested, drugs remain available and widely used. You read statistics like how a billion dollars spent busting / incarcerating dealers results in a 15% or 20% increase in street price, but no lack of availability or usage. New dealers just keep popping up. It's the ultimate free market, and as long as there is demand, there will be supply. Does this mean that we should give up on law enforcement or "legalize it"? No - because drugs are a plague that erodes our society and steals the freedom of individuals. But our 40 year experiment of only attacking the supply side, but not really the demand side, is as clear a failure as it could possibly be. Clearly we need to reduce the demand for drugs. Maybe kids would be better off if schools intensively taught them at an early age about the consequences of drug use - lifelong addiction, poverty, mental disability, OD's, death, prostitution, disease, inprisonment, etc. In addition to the "3 R's" maybe we should add "how not to ruin your life."

you're never goin to stop drugs from being around. educate your children to the dangers. don't sit with your head in the ground thinking " they're keeping dope off the streets so i don't have to tell my kids about it."

Jangar
The stuff comes from Mexico. Want to do something about it? Press your local, state and congress to do something about enforcing laws on immigration and secure the borders so the stuff (drugs and/or materials for manufacturing) doesn't come in. It all starts at the ballot box.

Just four more thug drug heads, without the brains to be consuming oxygen on this planet. Four more waste of humanity! I hope they get the maximum sentencing allowed without parole. JMO

What a sad and completely USELESS group....To claim to be their friend tells us what kind of pile you are..Jaloc and Winny, you are right...See how much smiling he does later..His kind probably will not care...

oldies
I applaud the efforts of the police catching these fine examples of humanity. The defense attempted by the person in the above comment regarding "smiley" is a classic example of someone who just doesn't get it. Stating he's a nice person and you're friends with him is all well and good. I'm sure many criminals serving time have friends. It's still no excuse for his lifestyle and the fact he couldn't care less how many lives he ruins in order to make a buck. He, and all those like him are waste material and should be punished without regret. Smiling while being booked is either a classic example of no brain activity or a sense of arrogance that the law is not a deterrent, but only a minor inconvenience. The good news is, when that person determines to visit him she'll know right where to find him.

Nidra, Oh,NEVER mind------I'm not going to waste my time on your thoughts(you are probably to high to read this anyway)! Why do the Feds/State police not try to follow the dope to the major buyers or sellers?I read a few days ago about how they busted a trucker with a ****load of dope and it turns out he was paid $5,000.00 to drive it.Why not pretend he did not get caught and then bust the ones who pick it up and go from there?Power, Politics,Bribes?Makes ya wonder....

WindCriesMary
If you want to stop drugs go to the source. These small time clown dealers have no clout in the game. This looks good for law enforcement but does very little to solve the problem. Another brotha down while the large and in charge big time dealers are sitting in Rome drinking fine wine and dancing with pretty women.

Southerngirl32
Way to go Camden and the Arkansas State Police ! In Lonoke County we still can't get any help to bust meth labs in the area unless we seek help elsewhere. Interesting.....

Winny
I say send the scumbags to prison for as long as the law allows if they are convicted in a court of law, with no possibility of parole til their sentence is served in full.

In answer to this poster below..... You can have friends, but that doesn't mean your friends are above our laws. Decent law abiding citizens don't engage in illegel drug activity. If in fact the charges against him are proven in a court of law, I would suggest that you may need to choose friends of a much higher calibre. Also, we can read your post ok without your shouting in full caps.

NidraLoveDexter 7:54 pm on 02/26/08; Illegal drug using, dealing, manufacturing of it, etc, can involve the so called elite, highly educated people, down to those at the bottom of the barrel in status in our society. The people that engage in such illegal activity need to pay dearly for their crimes.

Jaloc
Nidra your right we don't know him. But we do know that apparently he thinks this must be funny. If he was arrested for crack coacine that makes it a class Y felony which carries 10-40 years or life. If thats funny, he'll fit right in at the ADC.

NidraLoveDexter
DCINHS YOU LEFT THE COMMENT ABOUT JACKSON WELL I FEEL LIKE YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HIM HE'S A FRIEND TO ME AND MY FAMILY AND HE'S NOT EVEN THAT TYPE I MEAN YOU SIT HER AND LEAVE THIS COMMENT LIKE YOUR SUCH A GREAT PESON AND NEVER DID WRONG WHEN EVERYONE SINS HE MAY HAVE TO DO TIME BUT AS LONG AS GOD FORGIVES HIM IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU OR ANYONE ELSE THINKS.

dcinhs
Bet Jackson will not have that stupid grin on his face once behind bars.
