Judge Revokes Mitchell Johnson's Bond

A judge Wednesday revoked Jonesboro school shooter Mitchell Johnson's bond that had left him free while awaiting sentencing on a weapons conviction.
Johnson jailed over the weekend on a marijuana charge. He'd been out on a $5,000 bond pending sentencing on the federal weapons charge, an offense that could get him 10 years in prison.
U.S. District Judge Jimm Larry Hendren ruled that Johnson violated terms of his release and ordered him held without bond pending his sentencing.
Johnson was turned over to U.S. Marshals. A sentencing hearing has not been set.
Tuesday, police added a theft charge stemming from reported use of a debit card that was left at a convenience store where he had worked. It was during that investigation that police found the alleged marijuana on Johnson.
Now 23, Johnson was 13 when he and then-11-year-old Andrew Golden were found guilty in juvenile court of killing four fellow students and a teacher at Jonesboro Westside Middle School in 1998.
