  • Serves as headquarters for all the airlines’ maintenance and engineering activities worldwide.
  • Also performs all overhaul work on American's Pratt and Whitney JT-8, and General Electric CF6-80 and CFM56 jet engines.
  • One of the largest employers in the state, at one point employing more than 6,000 people.
  • The base occupies about 260 acres at Tulsa International Airport.
