Look for a warm day with highs well into the 80s under partly cloudy skies. There will be a slight chance for a few showers, mainly across southwestern Arkansas, as a disturbance moves across that part of the state.
We'll get a push of drier and cooler air into the state tonight into Friday and this could make the opening to Riverfest one of the nicest in a long time. Temperatures will gradually warm this weekend back into the 80s. A weak disturbance may bring a slight chance for a few showers Sunday.
Memorial Day and beyond looks nice with highs in the mid and upper 80s under partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies.
