A storm system out in the plains will generate thunderstorms this evening and some of those could reach far northwest Arkansas later tonight. There's a slight risk for some severe weather for that portion of the state.
More thunderstorms will develop and push into the state late Monday into Tuesday. The Storm Prediction Center has placed much of the state in a slight risk for severe weather at that time. The unsettled weather could persist into Wednesday as well. Stay with Channel 7, katv.com, and social media for the latest information.
