Cool and Dry describes the start of the Memorial Day Weekend forecast. High pressure has built into the region behind a cold front that now lies south of Arkansas. Clear skies tonight with lows falling into the 50's statewide. Mostly Sunny Saturday with only a slow warming trend. Highs tomorrow in the 70's to low 80's. By Sunday the cold front to the south of the state will begin to lift north as a warm front. Moisture will increase along with temperatures. A weak upper air disturbance will bring only a slight chance for a few showers over the state. Dry and warmer for Memorial Day with highs in the mid 80's.
