Catfish inspection program smells a little fishy

In 2008 congress passed a bill authorizing the USDA to take over inspections, because they look over nearly 100 percent of all domestic and foreign food facilities. But the FDA is still responsible. Chad Causey, a Catfish Farmers of America consultant says, "The FDA only inspects roughly 2% of all seafood that is imported into this country. That two percent is by sight alone." More>>
