Two Months Away... New Yakoubian Arrives

Many of you may remember I announced a few months ago there would be a new addition to the Yakoubian family.   It's hard to believe we are about two months away.  Andria is doing fine with the typical things a pregnancy brings with it.  She craves certain foods with the strangest being egg rolls.  Opening our freezer, you may think you're in a Chinese restaurant.

Time really does fly by and all the projects around the house are wrapping up including the nursery.  I still have a few things to do in there, but it's basically finished so I decided to post a few pictures.  I installed a chair rail, painted the top part of the room a baby blue, and the bottom a nice brown.  I have to give thanks to our weekend sports guy, Dale Nicholson.  He helped me haul all the furniture to my house.   Driving down Markham at 20 mph with big boxes hanging out of the back end tied down with the only thing available... jumper cables... got a few laughs.  I thought assembly would be a big pain, but it turned out to be a fairly simple project.   I plan to place his name on the wall in big, block letters.  I will also install a few shelves on one of the walls.  The nursery is a sports and weather theme. We have a name picked out, but won't announce until he's born.  Enjoy the pictures....

How very special. As the mother of three sons and grandmother of one grandson, I can tell you to take a deep breath and enjoy. This will too soon be a memory. Make it wonderful.

I also enjoyed the tale of transporting your boxes. I had to smile, we have all been there.

Hey Todd, I love the pictures. I am so proud of the pretty clouds. I pray that all goes well with the baby and mother. I know it will. I dounderstand about those cravings. I remember craving cereal "dry" with melted chees on it. HA! I know that is weird. Well, keep us updated and have a great weekend.
