March Madness...What's Next?

A couple of weeks ago I talked about this time of the year being the most active.  Last week was a perfect example.  Below is a side by side comparison of Sunday the 8th and Thursday the 12th.  It's hard to believe we went from highs in the mid 80s to highs in the mid 30s with some ice and snow across the state.  The next several days does offer some quiet weather.

At this point last year, we already had two huge snowstorms, two tornado outbreaks, and major flooding.  So far, 2009 has been much better.

I have been looking at some of the long term models and I don't see anything significant over the next couple of weeks at least.   A weak front will move through the state Wednesday night into Thursday morning, but without much moisture, the chance for rain with it will be less than 20 percent.

Hey Todd What snow are you talking about it only snowed in Bull Shoals for about 2 seconds. I think next winter they should bring that european model back cause the other model did a very poor job.
