There is a ton of work and many behind the scenes at the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission that make great fishing possible in the Natural State.  If you see any of them this weekend, thank them!

As soon as I cast my line in the water, one would bite.  That's what you would expect though at a hatchery.  That feeling of a big fish on your line will get you hooked and watching the reaction from the kids was funny.   We were hooking a few catfish that weighed between 10-15 pounds.  Watching a six year old haul one of those in was great.  Take your kid fishing this weekend, it will surely be a memorable thing to do and possibly introduce them into a wonderful sport.
