Hey again everybody! This is a reminder, if you missed seeing the on-air stories of any of the featured restaurants, all you have to do is pull up the video section on the KATV website and you should be able to see them, or type "Pam's Picks" in the search box. Enjoy!!!! I have now profiled more than a dozen restaurants. BTW, you don't want to miss next week's feature... I'll have a little something for everyone's taste!!!

If you know of any dining deals in your area- share them with me so I can pass them on. Until next time, Bon Apetit!

Thanks for your post, Cissy. And yes, they are open on the weekends, 11am- 6pm. I'll be posting a report on the blog soon, so please check back for more info. There's lots of variety and great home-cooking. All the best, Pam
Hey Nathan. Thanks for the post and the suggestion. Will have to check the Meat Shoppe out. Haven't been but it's on the radar, now, thanks to you! Best, Pam
Brad: Thanks for sharing the post about the Ole Feed House. I'm putting it on my blog so others can check it out, too. I have actually been to the restaurant and particularly enjoyed the catfish! Appreciate your taking time to send a note.
Best, Pamela
Thanks, Lisa! Will do. Chicken Nachos sound delicious! Appreciate your taking time to send a note.
Best, Pamela
If you have not been to Jacksonville yet, stop by Tater's BBQ. They are parked each Satruday at Advance Auto Parts on First St. in Jacksonville. Take Air Base exit and turn right at the light (First St.). The BBQ sandwiches are HUGE (enough for 2 poeple) and the taste is awesome. Very lean too. Thanks, Donna S.
Thanks for your suggestion, Donna. Have been to Jacksonville to do my Dining Deals story already, but that doesn't stop me from going by Tater's for a bite. I'll have to check it out and let you know when I do. Appreciate your taking to time to write. Best, Pamela
Thanks for the suggestion, Linda. I actually am a big fan of Jimmie's! But it is certainly worth sharing the experience with others who might not have eaten there - they have some really "serious" sandwiches and I love the option of getting fresh fruit on the side. We'll get Jimmie's on the list of "must visit" locations.

Hey Ms. Concierge: Thanks for the suggestion. I have actually driven by the restaurant before but didn't know if it was open for lunch, dinner or both. What's their specialty? It will have to be on list of places to check out. Again, thanks for taking the time to send a note. Pamela
