Updated 5/15/09

Hey again everybody!  This is a reminder, if you missed seeing the on-air stories of any of the featured restaurants, all you have to do is pull up the video section on the KATV website and you should be able to see them, or type "Pam's Picks" in the search box.  Enjoy!!!!  I have now profiled more than a dozen restaurants.   BTW, you don't want to miss next week's feature... I'll have a little something for everyone's taste!!!

Thanks again to the Hot Springs residents who helped me navigate my way around the Spa City and in the process I discovered some new restaurants to recommend with tabs that are a little easier to swallow.  BTW, Jacksonvwille get ready, I'm coming your way.  And if any residents out there want to make recommendations, please send them my way.

Pamela, the piece you done on Rolands in Hot Springs was right on!! We had gone to Garvans Gardens and I remember you talking about Rolands on TV. I put it in the GPS and we were on the way. It was wonderful, I did not have pie, I was way too full!! Thanks for letting us know where we can eat as we tour AR. We appreciate it. We are from Russellville

Brad
The Ole Feed House In Bryant has the best food in the state and it is all u can eat!!! Fried fish, shrimp, boiled shrimp, ribs, etc etc etc. Best cinnamom rolls for dessert with ice cream on top

Pam: Please check out KJ's family restaurant in Judsonia. Try their chicken nachos! Great steaks as well or catfish, they also have different daily lunch specials. Take the East Race exit in Searcy go right, come up to the split and go left. KJ's is down about a mile on the right!

Thanks, Lisa! Will do. Chicken Nachos sound delicious! Appreciate your taking time to send a note.

Best, Pamela

Pam,

If you have not been to Jacksonville yet, stop by Tater's BBQ. They are parked each Satruday at Advance Auto Parts on First St. in Jacksonville. Take Air Base exit and turn right at the light (First St.). The BBQ sandwiches are HUGE (enough for 2 poeple) and the taste is awesome. Very lean too. Thanks, Donna S.

Thanks for your suggestion, Donna. Have been to Jacksonville to do my Dining Deals story already, but that doesn't stop me from going by Tater's for a bite. I'll have to check it out and let you know when I do. Appreciate your taking to time to write. Best, Pamela

Hi, Pam, I think you should try JIMMIES'S SERIOUS SANDWICHES ON MARKHAM. THEY HAVE WONDERFUL SANDWICHES AND WILL CATER ANY EVENT.

Thanks for the suggestion, Linda. I actually am a big fan of Jimmie's! But it is certainly worth sharing the experience with others who might not have eaten there - they have some really "serious" sandwiches and I love the option of getting fresh fruit on the side. We'll get Jimmie's on the list of "must visit" locations.

Ms Concierge
Please checkout the NEW restaurant Hayestack Cafe on the corner of 27024 Kanis & Ferndale 501-821-0070 Chef Brain Hayes

Hey Ms. Concierge: Thanks for the suggestion. I have actually driven by the restaurant before but didn't know if it was open for lunch, dinner or both. What's their specialty? It will have to be on list of places to check out. Again, thanks for taking the time to send a note. Pamela
