As I sit in Newstar waiting on events to unfold here at Arkansas Baptist College where John McCain is visiting today, I am realizing that I have not posted anything to the blog in two weeks! I actually went to Las Vegas to a broadcasting convention (on my own) because I love to play with all the new toys that will soon be available to the broadcast industry. During my ten day trip out west, I also had the opportunity to visit family in Fresno, CA. We then went to the Sequoia National Forest, and if you have never been there, I highly suggest visiting because it is some of the most beautiful country you will ever see. They also have Giant Sequoias and the Largest and Third Largest trees in the world are located in the park. I have posted pictures of these trees on the old blog. Click Here to visit the Sequoia National Park Website. I also went to San Francisco. There, we did what most people do when they visit San Francisco, we took a bay cruise and went across the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges. The weather was very windy Saturday when we were there. Sustained winds of 45mph, then gusts of 60! It was a rough boat ride on the bay to say the least! OK. Back to the business at hand. Today, I am at Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock covering John McCain's Visit to the State. Next week (planned) is Toad Suck! On Friday, we will be doing Daybreak, Good Morning Arkansas, and Midday entirely from Downtown Conway. I will include lots of pictures with that post.
I will get some vacation pictures on the old blog as time allows! Keep checking back and I will update and link when that happens.
