The day started at 6:30am. We left KATV headed to Dallas, TX. Around Texarkana, we hit what I like to call "Super Rain". It was raining so hard we could barely see the hood of the truck for at least 30 minutes. We were also restricted to about 30 mph for that time. We arrived at an Obama campaign rally around 1:30 which was at Newman Smith High School in Carrollton, TX. We did the 5 and 6 from here, then headed to WFAA's parking lot to do the 10. It started snowing about 7:00 while we were still in Carrollton. I left WFAA around 10:20 headed to my parents' house in McKinney, which is about 30 miles north. Overnight, McKinney got around 3 inches of snow, while Downtown Dallas got little to nothing. It is very pretty especially since when I woke up this morning, it is a beautiful crystal blue sky and on the snow, it is a GREAT contrast! I have posted pictures below of both the Obama site, and Newstar in the snow.
Today we will be live from Huckabee's watch party at the Four Seasons in Irving. I will post more pictures and info tomorrow.
