Saturday, we were at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. We did Saturday Daybreak at the corner of 4th and Broadway in Downtown and it was a sight to behold. Being in the middle of 50,000+ women was fun to say the least! I was in Baby Pard parked in front of the Port-a-potties, and Stephen was in Newstar behind the main stage. Once again, our channel 7 staff showed their true talents in putting a show together in the field. Actually, two shows, one for Saturday Daybreak, and the other for the jumbotron behind the main stage. We had 10+ cameras shooting the event at 3 different locations and Chopper 7 flying over with live pictures as well. This proves again, that we at KATV have the some of the smartest and most talented people in television. Below are a few pictures from Saturday. Enjoy!

The picture below is for my friends in the uplink business or anyone who plays in the satellite world. This is our truck, Baby Pard and I was looking at AMC5. It took about 30 minutes to get the right angle to hit it due to these buildings in the way. We are shooting through that narrow crack between the Federal Building (right) and Region's Bank building (left). My elevation was at 48°, so that puts it just about at the top of the building on the right.
