Tips for Last Minute Holiday Shopping

On Wednesday's Daybreak, Lynn Corley, shopper extraordinaire, joined Melinda Mayo to share some tips to make the last minute shopping go smoothly. 

One thing she suggested to do to prevent having to join the last minute rush in years to come is buy a holiday planner.  Her planner holds everything from her children's wish list to coupons.

Lynn also suggested taking an easy snack along with you.  This helps prevent the mid-shopping energy crash.  So stick a granola bar or some crackers in your bag before you leave the house.

  2. Map out the day
  3. Avoid rush hour
  4. Set a budget
  5. Keep the kids involved
  6. Treat yourself
  7. Don't wait until Christmas Eve
  8. Slow down, enjoy the season
