2) Plan Ahead -- plan for a week's worth of meals at a time, so you don't make impulsive -- and expensive -- trips to the market
3) Swap Swank for Savvy -- choose recipies that allow you to substitute less expensive brands for your ingredients
4) Shop Smart -- stick to your list; it's alright look for good quality products on sale, but concentrate on the products that will be good values on a weekly basis and avoid end-of-aisle displays
