Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here, or at any Wendy's in the state or Big Red store in Central Arkansas. Advance tickets are half-off! Tickets can be redeemed at the gate for a Riverfest button which will get you in all three days of the festival, including all of the featured artists' concerts.
Despite all of the work that goes into Riverfest each year, the festival is only staffed by a handful of paid staff members -- plus an army of 300 volunteers! Such a minimal staff allows as much profit to be built up as possible, which is then recycled through the Rivermarket area. It is estimated that in its 32 year history, the festival has generated upwards of a million dollars for community development and restoration. The first such gift was made back in 1983 when $50 thousand was donated for the construction of the East Fountain in Riverfront Park. Other major gifts have included $200 thousand pledged in 1986 for the construction of the Riverfest Amphitheatre, $175 thousand pledged in 1996 for the East Pavilion in the River Market and just last year $100 thousand pledged towards the La Petite Roche project.
