Also... the President's Council on Fitness and Sports (through the Dept. of Health and Human Services) has issued the 2009 "National President's Challenge". This is a program that encourages all Americans to make being active part of their everyday lives. The program will be held from May 1 through July 24, and individuals can begin registration from May 1 to May 29 at http://www.presidentschallenge.org/
You just fill out an activity sheet and follow the exercise plan for six weeks. There are programs for kids, groups, adults...just about anyone! When you’ve completed the six week program, you can download a free certificate or purchase pins, T-shirts, sport packs, medals and more!
