Winding Down in Benton and Bryant
Wow, I seriously cannot believe this is our last day of the Road Trip. What an amazing experience this has been. I've had a ball and I hope that you've enjoyed this as much as I have. We had a great final Daybreak shot this morning at Dan's I-30 Diner in Benton. There was a great crowd with an interesting mix of political figures and residents.
After Daybreak ended, our crew all sat down for one more breakfast together. It's been so great to spend time with these people. They have really become a second family.
We're going to wrap up today with a stop of the Shoppach House in Benton, which is said to be haunted. Then, we'll stop by the Gann Museum, which will open a new Roy Rogers exhibit next week. We also want to make to sure to get over to Bryant and highlight some of its fun attractions. It's going to be interesting to see how I work out our 5 o'clock story when we're covering two different cities. I guess we'll find out what that looks like in just a few hours.
I'm headed out to enjoy the rest of the day. I'll be back with final thoughts later tonight. Happy Weekend! JD
