The Coldest Place in Town
Oh how I wanted to title this entry Ice Ice Baby, but I exhibited some self restraint. We are headed to Imperial Ice today to talk with them about their industry and what it's like to be in the ice business this time of year. I've been told it's close to 16 degrees inside the freezer...I think a coat might be in order.
The interesting thing about today is we aren't doing the interview until 3:00, which is a little later than normal. I like to have my 5 oclock tease written by 4 and my story for 6 written by 5...we'll see how well that works today. Honestly though it's kind of fun to be under a stricter deadline every once and a while. When I was working as the nightside general assignment reporter, I used to go up against my deadline a lot more than I do now that I work on CYN. There's a fun rush that goes with that.
