I did hear that the temperatures soared this weekend. I can't believe it's already this warm in mid June. I swear it was not this hot last year. I'm afraid we might be in for some incredibly hot summer days in the weeks to come.
During the hot summer months, it seems to a lot of us here in the newsroom that we see more violence. Is that true or does it just seem that way? Can summer heat be connected to violence here in Central Arkansas? These are the questions I'm trying to answer in today's CYN story. Just last week, The New Tork Times released this article about violence in their city and how it was connected to summer. Obviously that article doesn't necessarily apply to Little Rock, but I thought it raised some interesting questions.
