I must admit, today's story is not the one I was rooting for. My pick, "College Gossip Website" came in second (the title does sound terrible, but it is actually a very interesting story.) But alas, what I think does not matter. It's all up to you. So with 46% of the vote, "Recycling in Arkansas" it is.
I am a huge fan of all things green. I spend a great deal of time outdoors and most of my meager vacation time is spent either skiing or climbing mountains (much to my mother's dismay). With that said, I do not recycle. Just writing that makes me cringe. I feel like quite the hypocrite. In fact, I don't even know what my recycling options are here in the natural state. So I hope today's story will inspire all of us - myself included - to dispose of our waste more properly.
Thank you to everyone who has been sending in your suggestions as to which way I should try to tackle this story. As of now, I have an interview set up with Carol Beavis who runs the Regional Recycling and Waste Reduction District. They have a fabulous website which I hope will tide you over until my story airs on the 6PM news:

See y'all then. And if you have any questions about recycling that you would like Carol to answer, email me at kfisher@katv.com.

P.S. I would like to apologize to everyone for my delinquent blogging. I've been mildly overwhelmed with all the twittering, emailing, and live web cam updates. However, I think I finally have a system down. So you can expect daily blogs from here on out.
