So I'm choosing to focus on today. We're in Malvern and already the people have already been so warm and inviting. We started off at Jimmy's Family Restaurant for our Daybreak shots. Jimmy and his wife were so wonderful and had prepared fresh fruit and the most adorable Channel 7 cupcakes. A side note, I happen to adore cupcakes. This is a widely known fact among my friends and family. Seriously, my love for cupcakes could be a problem. Needless to say, I was thrilled to see them this morning.
We're now parked outside the Ritz Theater in downtown Malvern. The theater is hosting three different groups of kids for their end of the year field trips. It's so fun to hear all of them outside. They seem to be having a ball. It just reminds me how close we are to summer. It's amazing how quickly the time goes by when you're on a RV traveling across Arkansas!
There is also some talk about me kayaking today. We (and by we, I mean me) are scheduled to kayak sometime today, but I'm afraid the water is going to be absolutely freezing. I can take a fair amount, but I don't know about freezing water! We're also going to stop by and talk with the makers of the Grapette flavoring, made right here in Malvern. In the meantime, let's just hope for lots of sun and warm water!
