I seriously cannot believe that this is my last day at KATV. I couldn't sleep last night. It is so sad and surreal. But I am thrilled that Choose Your News will continue in such talented and capable hands.

In case you missed yesterday's announcement, KATV Reporter Jessica Dean will be taking over Choose Your News as of Monday. She is an incredible journalist, one of my closest friends, and the perfect person to be the new face of CYN. I have no doubt that all of you will love her. The official takeover will happen as soon as tonight's story airs. That means many of you Choosers will finally get your wish...yes, that's right... I will be the special guest on tonight's Daily Debrief. This is your chance to ask me anything you want. Thank you to all of you for participating in our project. I have loved every minute and will miss it very much.

I knew the first time I saw you on the news that you would be one that wouldn't be there long. I've enjoyed CYN segment very much, and I wish all the luck at your new job.

Good luck Kristin. It's been a joy to watch you "build" the story each day. Most people don't get to see or hear all the behind the scene stuff. Good luck in DC. I'm guessing you are going to work at KATV's sister station there. Whoever is getting you is getting a great reporter and an even better person.

Kristin its been fun watching you work we(me and wife)have enjoyed all your news you have given us and now your leaveing us so good luck with your new job and try to stay out of trouble in the big city of DC.
