Jobs for Stay-At-Home Moms

Today's story took me by surprise.  I thought certainly "Duck Season Preparations" would win.  But with almost 60% of the vote, "Jobs for Stay-At-Home Moms" it is.

Not going to lie... I was a little bit apprehensive about this assignment simply because it's very vague.  Not to mention, I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to find a stay-at-home Mom who would be willing to talk on camera on such short notice.  But today, the news gods were smiling down on me.

Right now I am sitting outside the old Train Depot in Russellville.  Inside, Chrissy Clayton (a stay-at-home Mom) is setting up her table for "Cards by Chrissy".  Tonight, she along with several other stay-at-homers will be selling thier products to the public.  I'm headed inside to interview Chrissy and a few of her friends.  If you have any questions for her, email me now: kfisher@katv.com

The full story will air in our 6PM newscast where we will be live outside the old Train Depot in Russellville.  See y'all then.

I didn't get to see all of the segment on the Stay at home moms. I am very interested in setting up a home business. I need the work and I have 2 sick children at home. This would be ideal for me to have an at home business. Can you please get me in touch with someone who can help me? Thank you.

Kristin....I would like to suggest a news story. Could you please do one on online degrees (University of Phoenix...???) verses brick and mortar schools (UALR....Pulaski Tech...???) ??? I am an adult wanting to go back to school and don't want to waste my time on an online degree if employers are gonna frown on it and not accept it....although it would be better for me to do that (family, job) rather than physically being in a classroom. Thanks so much....

DID EITHER OF THE WOMEN HAVE TO HAVE MONEY UPFRONT TO GET STARTED AND HOW OR WHERE DO YOU LOOK TO GET STARTED. THE PROBLEM IS THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO PUT UP FRONT, OR WON'T BECAUSE OF SO MANY SCAMS.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND ATTENTION.

Kristin, do a story on your parents. Not every reporter has parents who are astronauts.
