You guys are amazing!!  Nearly two-thousand of you voted on today's story and the winner is:  Behind the Scenes at Channel Seven News.  I want you to know that our News Director was not thrilled about putting this story on the table.  His exact words were, "I'm just afraid it's a little too self-serving."  And he has a point.  We are not the news, we are simply tasked with telling the news.  With that said, the whole purpose of Choose Your News is to let our viewers be my boss.  After all, isn't a journalists primary job to serve the public?  So I hope today's story will prove that we will truly do ANY story that receives the majority of your votes.  So please send in your ideas and vote.   

Also... We have a new feature that we're adding to the Choose Your News website (I'm just going to start saying CYN for short).  Every day after the CYN segment airs, I will host the Daily Debrief either at my desk or in the field.  And every day we will have a new special guest.  It all stems from yesterdays impromptu "After-show" with Ms. Jessica Dean.  Everyone watching sent us emails, and we were able to reply in real time.  We had way too much fun.  So starting today, tune into the Daily Debrief and be ready to email me (kfisher@katv.com) questions, comments, anything you like...and I will do my best to answer them.
