Low pressure and an associated cold front over the plains will move toward Arkansas late and across the state Saturday. Showers and thunderstorms will increase from the west tonight as the front approaches. There is a slight chances for a few strong storms over southwest Arkansas but the threat for widespread severe weather appears low at this time. Most of the rain moves through central into eastern Arkansas early Saturday with showers ending by afternoon. Clearing skies and cooler temperatures with highs in the 50's return Sunday into much of next week.
